About Me
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
My name is Travis Coats and I am an artist working in school at the Academy of Art University towards my Bachelor's degree in Game Design with an emphasis on 3D modeling.
I'm learning 3D modeling programs in school and love to work traditionally and digitally within Photoshop. I have a knack for photography as well.

My Story
I started my artistic journey when I was in Middle School.
My inspiration started from Star Craft constantly drawing the the Star Craft Marine from the main menu screen from the Nintendo 64 game version.

As I entered High School, I started branching out learning to draw, paint, mold clay, working with traditional mediums. During high school I always knew I wanted to go on to college to either work as a Traditional Artist or in Game Design.

Years later, with some regret not attending college after high school.

Many dead ends, heartbreaks, and feelings of being lost.

Then a major accident where I had the possibility of dying a multitude of ways, I told myself that I'm here for a reason, that life is so fragile, and decided it was time to make something of myself.

Attending college has come with its challenges,
Learning many valuable lessons, from being overwhelmed,
How to charge my metaphorical batteries
Preparing ahead of time to succeed properly.
Are just a few major lessons I have learned along the way.
While also learning that meeting deadlines is the most important lesson.
